After having a bit of a look around for a new tv i was pretty impressed by the quality of the samsung 7000 model, but then saw the review of the ue46b8000. The review has quiet a bit of info on it and iv found a reasonable price here: UE46b8000 prices but i cant seem to find any specific info on the contrast ratio's. For not to much more money i could get one of the philips pfl9803 which is slightly smaller but has 2 million to 1 contrast ratio's!

2 million to 1 contrast ration really mean nothing and a to get people to part with there cash as is more mega pixels in cameras. Your far better off looking at the actual TV's and comparing picture quality that going by the numbers
