This week Gary is joined by Kate Macefield, Andrew Lim and myself. Expect absolutely no talk of genitals or stuff you'd read about in Nuts, Zoo or What Wolf Whistle?.

T-minus an amount of hours...

Hold on... This is Wednesday!

Is this a pre-emptive strike of a thread or are you releasing more than one a week?

Well none of us are here on Friday because it's Easter, and we're recording this afternoon. You'll get your injection of Crave a whole day early this week!

Bst rgrds.

Awesome. I will feel isolated from the tech world though!

Oh, can you use the word antinomian in the podcast?

spare a thought for us poor under-respected security guards that will be patroling our nations building sites carparks shoping mall on friday, on your day of leisure ! smile

one question, i assume since this is being done tonight it will be longer then usual ( to make up for the fact that we will then have to wait 8 days for the next one! ) or ofcourse you could release a mini pod half way between them 8 days

im not addicted to crave honest ....just one more minute extra pleeeese lol

i think the main problem with the crave podcast is there is nothing as good as it, and i have tried loads from 360 orientated podcast that sound like a group of friends just got drunk and talked about the games they rented to buzz out loud, which although is close to crave, its just no where near as good(way to many american techs talked about *cough*hulu*cough*)
ok im going to stop ranting now, im only just up and yet to have my coffee (i know its 1421 but im a night guard so i get away with that)

Just curious Grim, but what do you think of skateboarders?

I do think Crave is the best UK tech podcast. Actually, there seems to be very few UK tech podcasts, at least that you'll hear of on the grape vine. I'm sure someone will post now to prove me wrong.

I probably do listen to too many podcasts, but I try to stick a rule of "enrichment & entertainment" rather than "entertainment for the sake of it". Which means that I listen to a lot of the "TWiT" podcasts ("Security Now" is an education every week), but I also like to hear people debate and chat about current events in the tech world, which is where Crave fits in. However, Crave is thankfully English, and as such I can identify with our quirky and ironic sense of humour on the world.

Probably if anything, I'd like to see Crave occaisionally go the way of the way of TWiT and Cranky Geeks and have a good old debate about any particular issue or topic, kind of a focused "round table" edition. (... and if you want any audience participation in such a thing, give me a call!)

on the carpark i sometimes guard we have zero tollerence to them for there own safty and others, my self im polite to them and ask them to leave (some of my collegues are less polite and will shout but then i havent seen the fatalities they have seen caused by/participated by skaters/bmx/etc etc kids and no i cant and wont go into details of that)
if they are in a skate park minding there own business then im fine with them, if they are on pavements or as i say my site then its different (same as most things really if they are harming no one then bah what do i care)

**to crave crew*** would be great if you could answer my question on wireless elctricity http://forums.cnet.co.uk/-podcast-/index.htm?mode=viewthread&t=10005218&tindex=13&sortOrder=desc&sortType=last_post_date though renember the bbc article was not the tech i was thinking off the cnn article i posted further on is, http://money.cnn.com/magazines/business2/business2_archive/2007/04/01/8403349/ it would certainly be worth discussing as it comes out by the end of 2008! Tac bless this age of technoledgy (Tac= see other post about anti gravity)
