At this point, I would experiment with creating a new firefox profile.

If you press Windows+R from your desktop and type in

"Firefox -profilemanager" and create a new profile from there.

See if you have the same issues.

Also just want to make a note to everyone else, it is this same insistent and felicitated behaviour on the part of Apple QuickTime that made me totally boycott their software.

Thank you for your help, but when i put in Firefox -profilemanager - it opens up another firefox windows with my homepage. Still do not work. Hate apple too lol Still having got an ipod or iphone. May be im not cool anyway

Apparently, you need to type in "firefox.exe -profilemanager", my bad.

You could always try updating to firefox 3.5 RC

Still no luck...Is it possible for me to uninstall firefox and re-install it again? Will it definately work? If so, is there a good way to keep the bookmarks so I can do a quick transfer? Thx

Download the add-on Weave and sync your bookmarks to it then do it again on the new install
