headphones £199 ! for headphones....i mean HEADPHONES

ok i get my memory cards from mymemory (not my the organic filing system in my head but a website)
and they send me a newsletter

i saw some electronic device and they only had the headphones on display which looked funky so i go and have a look (herehow cheap things are on this site i figure a £200 device must be an impressive media player)

and its just headphones!
for £200 !
little headphones!
like you get in currys or dixons for £20 but 10 times the price
just the headphones !
not even diamond studded with real platnum finish hand crafted by virgins blessed by tabitin monks headphones should be this price !

I got to ask what mug would buy them !?!?
are they aimed at people with more money then sense ? or is there a real praticule reason to shelling out a months food money on headphones (small tiny in ear headphones)

im now looking into starting my own headphone creation company ...i mean that seems to be were the money is (out of work tabitin monks and virgins can email me at .....)

It's all to do with the quality. I had a pair of Shure EC2's which cost me nearly £100 and they beat the S**t out of any £20 headphones you can buy.

The specs look pretty good but I am not sure if they really do what they say but you should look for a trusted review , cnet should review them but I am not sure if they are worth being reviewed , compared to the £500 Denon's

I also agree with him. Headphones vary a huge amount. Some of them are rubbish, some of them are good. Some of the rubbish ones cost a lot, some of the good ones are quite cheap.

But just because something is expensive, doesn't mean it isn't worth it.

For example, you can get a plasma TV for £450 or £2500. The £2500 is expensive, but really very good. The £450 one will do the job, but it's not as good.

Some people care about quality, some don't.
