Dear Blog:

I've been really quiet recently, because of all the work i ALREADY have to do on my course. However, it's mostly organisation, ie. adding my semester timetable to outlook so I can sync it to my iPod and (eventually) mobile phone (which will most likely be a S60 device!)

It's also my birthday tomorrow - good times laugh

Dear Blog,

This evening I watched that "don't text while driving" film done by the Welsh police and really wished I hadn't. It really affected me, if you have seen it, the part with the toddler wanting mummy and daddy to wake up after the pile up... I suppose being a parent, it really touched me. I used to ride motorcyles and know all too well how bad car drivers are (yes, I tar you all with the same brush after the near misses I had over the years).

If you are easily upset, please do not go hunting for this video, it's now 2am and every time I close my eyes I see it :-s

Lesson learnt here, not all videos posted on Facebook are funny

Dear Blog,

A while ago my mum won a competition to basically win your "dream bedroom" for my brother, and it all got finished up this weekend just gone. Let's just say that when I went home I was literally green for about 24 hours. Rock Band 2 is great fun though!

I also got a brand new iPod out of it - they gave him a 32GB iPod touch, but he already has one so our mum was going to have it - I convinced her that she'd never fill up 32GB when I very easily can (and have!) so we did a little swapsies, and she has my old 16GB 1st Generation (which is perfect for what she'll be using it for - music)

I can finally think about getting a few more games now - the speed upgrade is shocking after you've been on my old iPod for two years!
