Dear blog,
Yet another month rolls around.

In my life, I'm in a months-long process of clearing unwanted junk out of my house. I'm still smugly using Linux on a day to day basis. If I ever go back to Windows, I will HAVE to run Linux in dual boot or virtual machine because there are now things I rely on that I couldn't do as easily in Windows, and I'm starting to sniff around for new smartphones.

Dear blog,

Xbox Live Gold should not have advertisements, and something i'd like to see ISPs do.

Dear blog,

I was sleeping (as you do) and suddenly I heard a dripping sound. I woke up to see that it's raining and my window is open (My window is on my ceiling). Water was dripping down on to my TV, my Wii, my 360, my computer monitor and keyboard.

Amazingly, none of it is broken and it all still works (Well, i've not tested the Wii yet).

Additionally, here's a tough game of Halo 3 me and my friends played yesterday.

Dear blog,
Glad to hear that Pokeh's stuff didn't go fizz-bang in the rain!

Also - why is backing up my e-mail so difficult?

Dear blog,

A Trash Talker I encountered yesterday on Halo 3. It was quite funny.

Also, I modified my YouTube channel, Twitter Page abd my blog to look the same. I used Paint.net to get the correct hex codes for the colours. Thoughts?

Edit: Does anyone know where I can buy the MP3/CD of Master of Puppets by Pendulum? I know there's a Live version (Spotify Link), but that's not what I want.

I know that a non-live version must exist somewhere because someone put it on YouTube. I try to Google it, but it just brings up links to Torrents.

Dear blog,
No one can say I'm hopelessly blinkered, while there is still too much wrong & lacking with the iPhone & its ecosystem to ever make me want to buy one, I am VERY impressed with this augmented reality app that finds London tube stations (not much use to me in Hull though!).

Dear Blog,

Rang Virgin the other day and had a rant about a few things and managed to cut a deal. Now got the TV with reduced package (only used in the bedroom anyway - Sky HD downstairs) and reduced package on the telephone (rarely used) and have 50Mb broadband being installed next Monday. The deal is also saving me £15 per month so I'm pretty happy.

The new free Nertgear N router arrived today and cannot wait for the 50Mb... the 20Mb I have now just don't seem fast enough anymore ;-)

Dear Blog,

I'm just happy to get on the phone to these companies and refuse to take 1st offers. The trick to remember is that call center staff are performance managed on how man they average per hour so are pretty keen to get off the calls sooner rather than later. It should also be noted that quality performance ALWAYS comes second place.

Dear Blog,

Going away to Majorca for two weeks tomorrow morning (7AM). It'll be a bit weird totally detatching myself from the internet and stuff because I've been using them more and more in the past couple of years. It's nice to get a good, long break though.

See you on the other side!

I am jealous.

Dear blog,

I am convinced that someone on XBL keeps stalking me. It's actually kind of creepy.

Dear blog,

1- Trying to find a job is slowly eating away at my soul. In case you didn't realize from my Twitter updates.

2- I recommend that people try out Audio-Surf if they have a spare five minutes or so.

Dear Blog,

Nobody seems to have anything to say this month! Including me, it would appear.

Actually, I've been waiting for a 12-month Xbox Live card and Tales of Vesperia to be delievered to my house for almost a week now, and I'm starting to get impatient. Hopefully they'll both arrive tomorrow laugh

You're right, we are a bit quiet.

Dear blog,
As part of my on-going massive clear out at home, I ordered a 16GB Micro SDHC memory card, and ripped 19 CD-ROMs onto it (so I can bin the discs). Now, a stack of 19 discs are all inside something the size of my little finger nail.

I love living in the future smile

Actually, wanting to write a blog post about this. I have a photo with the memory card in front of the stack of discs, and I'm trying to apply some effect to the image suggesting that the stack is shrinking into the card. Haven't managed anything satisfactory yet.
