New nanos, new iPod touch. That's about it.

What were you expecting that didn't show?

Didn't expect them to just have a single iPod classic that's for sure.
I was hoping that they'd lower the price of songs on iTunes to make them more like the prices the Americans get to pay for their content.

To be honest I was just expecting something that would make me go "wow!". All I got was things that made me either go "what?" or "why?"; apart from a dedicated music toggle the iPod touch needed nothing changing to it, yet they're going on about how games are a brand new thing that you can only experience on the new touch. How come I've been able to get them since the App Store opened... sad

I was kind of expecting new Mac books. A lowered price for Mac Books probably would have got me to buy one. I'm still not willing to fork out £700 minimum for one.

As some of you may or may not know I ordered a new iPod touch because my "fat Nano" went missing somewhere. I suspect my sister will probably want one of the new Nanos.

Cheaper prices on iTunes would have been nice. But then what's stopping me from getting music from someplace else?

disappointed that the 8gb touch wasn't a lower price after all the speculation. the new model however may make the old ones affordable.

Not that I'd be happy about it if I were an iTunes user, but I had taken the iTunes subscription plans seriously. I did so, because iTunes are facing more and more competition. Amazon, in particular, could potentially over take them in music and TV sales and rentals.

Plus there are places starting to sell DRM-free music, which will rake in a lot of customers.

Yeah, Amazon is one of them! (only in the US so far though).

I heard that Tesco Digital sells DRM-free music too.

I heard they did too. Although I went to see if they had an album I want that is not DRM free at 7digital (for now at least), and it wasn't either. So they're certainly not 100% DRM free.
