As with a number of people, I have a lot of digital content around (photo, video, music, etc.) and I would like an easy way of accessing/viewing it all on a TV. I have been looking at what is is around for a short time now and the only unit that really stands out for me is the Western Digital TV HD Media Player WDAVP00BE - although it doesn't have a built in HDD of network access this is not a problem, although network connectivity would be nice. My main criteria is - Connectivity output - digital audio, HDMI Connectivity input - USB, network (desirable) Small form factor HD Video compatibility Price

Why dont you buy a small form factor pc or a laptop? It does all that you wanted, and more! Then you can watch iplayer and 4od on your tv, listen to streaming music online, and all the normal pc stuff like emails, games and net surfing. I think creative do a sound card with digital output, you can get a hi def disk drive reasonably cheaply now from ebuyer.com. if you get a freeview card then you can watch and record tv via the pc as well. Simply put, a pc is the jack and master of all trades when it comes to digital media
