I have been using two 200 mbps home plugs very successfully to connect my laptop to my Belkin N1 router, it works fine with good bandwidth (worked straight out of the box - excellent product) . The router is also attached to my desktop PC using an ethernet cable. I have tried to connect my PC to my Panasonic Viera TV to stream some BBC i-player content that I had downloaded. I have another ethernet cable from my homeplug to the TV using the ethernet port on my Virgin HD decoder. I have then used the TV menu to select the correct interface Note: my decoder runs off HDMI 1, but this does not show the streamed content, I have even connected a scart cable from the decoder to the TV, without success. Final bit of 'gen'; I have a DVD/VCR RAM player/recorder - also Panasonic - both the Virgin decoder and the Panasonic recorder are attached to the TV using HDMI cables, the recorder is also attached to the TV using a scart. How can I successfully stream from my PC to the TV?
