notifications on iphone 3.0

shouldn't there be a notifications tab on the root of the settings menu?
I don't seem to have one =[ anyone got any suggestions?

for what kind of notifications? If you're after email notifications you might find what you need in the Fetch New Data tab, although I can't help much further than that because I only have the iPod touch.

nah got fetch set-up for my e-mail.
all I had to do was to boot up an app that had the new push notifications enabled (tap tap revenge 2) then the new menu option appeared between 'carrier' and 'sounds' options.

glad you got it all sorted out then smile I haven't upgraded my iPod touch to 3.0 - there's nothing in it to justify paying £5.99 for.
