Yeah, I'm paying attention to the browsing, because while I don't use mobile data that much, there will be odd days here and there where I do, and I don't want to get stung. This £1 a day sounds great, especially if I'm pulling down lots of images on Google Maps, but is the only difference between this and the web bolt-on being the £1 charge?

Have you tried Billmonitor? It analyses your spend and suggests tariffs based on your usage. Saved my partner a lot of money recently.

I would argue that it's a damn site better value than the O2 iPhone contracts and to me, the phone is as good
