Any recommendations on a good protective case, I dont want one that has a flap but do want it to protect the screen.

Option

Something like this but with screen protection.

Any help guys?

I would say don't get one. What's the point in buying something nice and ruining it by doubling the size?
I don't think they are any use because the iPhone is pretty sturdy, I've dropped mine a couple of times and always have it with me and so far has lasted a year with no problems, scratches ect.

there's certainly no point getting a screen cover because it's scratch-resistant glass anyway and a covering will make it less responsive. If you did get a backguard then I'd get one that was textured or something to give better grip, the only damage you'll do to that screen is cracking it by letting it slip out of your hand

cool ill get a back plate then, any tips on a nice one, My wife is getting the same phone at the weekend so need to make them look different, cant have her finding out about the mistress

Also check out contour cases from america, i have one for my ipod touch and it offers pretty good protection for scratches to the back etc but like other commenters say you probs dont need to bother with the screen protector

sometime phones do need cases and screen protectors. a high value phone is your little toy, mine mda vario IV (aka htc touch pro) has a suede case for carrying the phone in a screen protector.

if your proud of your phone then look after it

I bought a nice iPhone case online from www.twitchcase.com recently. Its nice the design is a rose so I can be kinda girly while keeping my phone protected which is great :D The case is really slim and light and has a soft lining of velvet on the inside which stops scratches too. I love it. Maybe u will find 1 4 ur wife on there "acjwalker" hehe :D

I would always advise getting a screen protector. I've had a few devices that have "scratch resistant" glass on them, iPod Touch, PSP, etc but they always seem to manage to get light surface scratches over time. I've not noticed any issues with decreasing the sensitivity with the iPod touch now I have a screen protector on it. I'll certainly be getting one when and if I buy the iPhone next week.

i agree with iKris. the best case i have had to date has been the POKER case by TWITCH. They are nice and slim and have almost no weight to them. Nice designs too which i like. The poker case i have on my iphone now gets me lots of compliments at the poker tables :-)
