Do you mean Windows Mobile 7?

Windows Mobile 7 isn't out, but Windows Mobile 6.5 has just come out. The HD2 runs Windows Mobile 6.5.

But you wouldn't be able to view sites on the phone via Windows 7, because Windows 7 is a PC Operating System

The HTC HD2 runs Windows Mobile 6.5

There should be no reason why the HD2 won't work with Windows7....they may have been referring to the fact that the HD2 won't come with Windows Mobile 7, or that there is no guarantee that HTC would release a Windows Mobile 7 update for the HD2.

Windows Mobile 7 should be out next year sometime....no reason why it won't work on the HD2, but it may not be "officially" supported...

Other than that it looks like a great phone.....

The HD2 will work properly with Windows 7 on the PC, HTC will have been working on updating the software suite. If that's what they were referring to, anyways.

Thanks guy's for the replies I was confused my self as I knew 6.5 was just released a little while ago. That's what I like about windows mobile though not prefect you can always download something to gear the phone up for other up dates unlike symbian software.I will wait for the review for the HD2 as I was gonna plump for the HTC HD until this came out...But if this is much better I will plump for this one and ditch the nokia N85
