Flashing a Samsung i8510

HI everybody, could somebody point me in the right direction, i would like a guide to flashing this phone and to be able to update google maps to rhe latest 3.0 version. The downloadable guide isnt much use and Samsung "help " worse. Great phone, awesome camera but struggling with this Symbian OS. Regards to all.
