Can anyone offer advice on the following .... I want a laptop to replace my desktop computer. It needs to be portable for holidays/weekends away but primarily I want to use it connected to my HD TV in the lounge along with a wireless keyboard/trackball rather than as a stand alone laptop. I will use it to surf, emails, ms office, play bluray discs and work on my digital photos and videos. I don't play games. So must have HDMI connection and suitable drive. Want to be able to use laptop in "closed position" connected to TV - is this possible? Which make/model/spec would you recommend? Thanks in anticipation of your help

HDMI outputs are now fairly common on higher end machines.... Something like the Samsung R620 might suit you.... Samsung R620
