is it possible to buy a good netbook for for general use like msn using the internet , watching videos listening to music but also i would quite like it to play couple of old games like Halo combat evolved (just campaign) and other things.
i have seen the ASUSeee pc 1000he i dont knew if people would recommend it but are there any other net books that do most of my uses for around £260 And if you know where its cheapest to buy, Please tell me.
And are there any netbooks to stay away from.

THANKS

You'll never be able to run a game adequetely on a netbook, it's just not possible - the processor is too weak and the graphics are integrated and basic enough to do some DirectX and rendering but not much else.

I think there is only one netbook that would run halo, thats the Asus N10 but i dont think thats even on sale in the UK and its well over your budget ($700).

You may be able to find a laptop that would run halo in your price range but its not going to be fast. You could always buy a refurbished one though.

i would recomend the lenovo ideapad s10e as its well build by a good brand, high quality, durable, very reliable, and now costs £259 (reduced). the product is also customizable before you buy so you can give it a larger hard drive.

the netbook comes (as standard) with windows xp (or linux) has builtin wireless, builtin bluetooth, builtin webcam, 1gb memory, 160gb hard drive, intel atom processor, and a 10.1 inch display.
Great Value For Money.
