My laptop is giving out so Im looking for a new one. I need something with battery for taking notes in class, watch a movie, or few hours surfing at the cafe, small 12"-13", enough power to have media player, Firefox, Word, and chat all at once, and just enough power to run a game or 2 when Im bored nothing fancy just say Halo, Lego Star Wars, Republic Commando something along those lines. Im looking at the Dell XPS M1330, the Dell inspiron 13, HP tablet, but Im not sure if they have the power I need. Now for the fun part I cant really spend over $700 more like $500-$600

In short. 12"-13" screen, 3 hour battery, 2-3GB RAM, 2.0 dual core, semi decent graphics card, $500.

Thanks,
Ethan S

The Dell XPS M1330 is a great laptop, so would recommend that.

think you're shooting a bit too high, M1330 is about $799.

If you want to go down the Dell path then i suggest the Inspiron 13, at $599. Although you could look in local stores - Toshiba laptops are pretty cheap and have good spec, and maybe look at some mid-range HP or Advent models.

If that's $500-$600 USD, how about one of these.
