I have just upgraded to the Humax 9300T and find the whole interface and dual digital recording absolutely great. The niggle comes in to play when I noticed that when the Humax is in standby mode and I try to watch my tv on its own internal digital channels there is no signal. In other words I have to have the pvr switched on to watch my tv's own internal digital channels?? This seems like a crazy set up to me. Is this a design feature or a fault with my own pvr, or am I missing something? I have it currently set up using a scart lead and the aerial through the pvr Any advice gratefully received

I have fitted daisy-chain coax lead from 9300T output connector to TV aerial input, and this allows TV to operate independently of 9300T operation. Leave SCART connection in place for use when TV is in 'monitor' or playback mode. TV signal source must be selected appropriately

The RF signal is not passed through the PVR to the TV when it is in Standby mode. To fix this you can turn the PVR's 'power saving in standby' off: Menu -> Preferences -> Miscellaneous Settings -> Power Saving in Standby -> Off
