I have decided to start getting fit and going on runs to lose weight. Now here's the question. I need some headphones, under or around £25 (I am a student y'know), that would be suitable for use when running and general usage. I have been using bluetooth headphones for over a year so Im not used to the best quality or loudest sound. I want something which is comfortable to wear, and where the wire doesn't get in the way. I was thinking of a neckband style headphones, as that's what I'm used to(and have a large head) but anything comfortable, decent sound quality, and doesnt fall out/off your ears would be good. But you lot are the experts, so please input you're invaluable ideas and suggestions.

Anything would be much appreciated.

Thanks again

Are you opposed to sound-isolating earphones? They're the ones that go into your ear canal, as opposed to sitting just on the inside of your ear.

No, I am open to suggestions, as long they don't fall out, as I had older ones which fell out every 5 mins. Thanks

Try the Sennheiser CX series, I found them very comfortable and sound quality was almost comparable to my more expensive Shure earphones. The wire from one of the headpieces wraps behind the neck nicely to keep the wire up and out of the way especially if you just put the main part though your t-shirt. I know they come in black and white but I think the newer iterations come in more colours (maroon off the top of my head). Also I think you can either hit your budget or go cheaper or push the boat out and get better ones all in the same series.

The sennheiser CX series tend to have wires that transmit sound a lot, ie. if you move the wire -- as you would when running -- you can hear a very audible rustling.
Also, there's a lot of fakes around, so be really careful.
Having said that, I can't think of any running headphones off the top of my head.

I bought some CX500's off ebay for £11.50, and I have really enjoyed using them, very loud and clear. Doubt they are fake, but even if they are they are better than my current phones. Thanks guys for helping me choose.
