i know it might sound shallow but i am simply frustrated over the ipod touch's lack of built-in FM radio hardware and i feel i might have to wait for the 3rd gen touch before we see the light of it. i simply want some recommendations of any 1st-party or 3rd-party FM radio adaptor/receiver for my 2nd gen ipod touch. and would you guys trust 3rd-party FM recievers and their reviews on say Ebay or Amazon? would you say all are the same and does it's job? are they generally tried & tested?

It doesn't help when you are out and about, but you can run radio streaming apps like FStream or Tunin.FM which will run fine when you are WiFi connected, if you had an IPhone, you could use these with 3G too.
