My iPod touch is steadily going to become less and less useful. There's no Wi-Fi where I'm living and I'm prohibited to set it up myself and my music library is many times over the 16GB capacity. I saw that the iPod classic is only about £170 or £190, something like that. For 160GB of storage, is there anything at a similar price, or cheaper? I would rather not get another iPod, but I don't want an Archos player either, they're too big.

They're pretty much your only options I'm afraid. What you could do is get something like a 32GB Creative Zen and add a 16GB or 32GB SDCH card into it, giving you up to 64GB of storage.

Would you recommend that over the iPod classic, though? I've never had a Zen.

Personally, no. It's still nowhere near the capacity, but as an alternative it's a decent choice for a player that does exactly what it says on the tin.
