hi there, my son has decided he wants a camera for his birthday this month.
he only has £50, and is undecided between fuji A850 or the vivitar7340.
or if you could recommend other make of camera?

hese's into taking wildlife pics, birds in flight etc,

any advice or help would be much appreciated

I would suggest you to check out Sony Cybershot DSCS730 and Samsung S760 Digital Camera. I think It’s better and a cheaper option. Or try this one http://www.checkcost.co.uk/digital-cameras/c/4368

Here you can find a list of cameras and can choose one within your range and requirement. I hope this would help you to have a good deal.

Hi,

I would like to suggest Mercury S-555V. Its really cheap and nice camera. Why don't you try this one? I sure you will like this.

My friend also did recommend that -I did go to www.checkcost.co.uk/ when I was buying mine, but then I did not like the prices-were way higher than expected. I got a Canon Rebel XS 10.1MP online and was doing some consumer research on the product. I saw & bought at www.crazycameras.co.uk as they were advertising a bit so I did check them out and they were cheaper on this model. The camera was decent as I went and did some still shots in the park and it was good. But really for your son -it depends on how much you want to spend. The one I got is not terribly expensive but there are some out there that have a lot of accessories you can add on which make them expensive. I'm just a beginner, so I did not get any accessories except a bag as I don't want it scratched. I would recommend getting a bag for it as well as that is not a small slr.

Hi~I suggest you a good online shop--Hotsaleoutlet et that you can choose your favourate camera, I'm sure one of them will attract your son's eyes!
