Have just purchased a Sanyo VPC-S880 digital camera from Play.com. It does not seem to record video clips. I do not currently have an SD card installed. Must it have one to record these? It does not say in the manual. Can anyone advise. many thnks

Hi, Sanyo decide their Xacti range as 'camcorder' but they are actually a stand up camera so the quality of its video clips are not as great as other ordinary camcorders. With regard to your question, I would recommend you to purchase a SD card as its internal memory is too low to start recording. Format your new SD card and give it ago and let us know whether it works or not.
