Market research by GfK has shown the top-selling 10 digital cameras of 2007. Sony has two cameras in there and Canon three, but the big surprise is in the top spot: The Vivitar Vivicam C1035S. We hadn't heard of it either. So if you're one of the hundred and fifty-odd thousand people who own one, what's it like? Where did you get? How have you found it? And for the rest of us, would you consider swapping your expensive camera for a 3 megapixel point-and-shoot with a 4cm screen -- if it cost £21?

This is really interesting. I had been thinking recently about those disposable cameras that you get in tourist shops and wondering if they would ever find a replacement. Vivitar could be on to something. If you forget your camera on holiday, the company could easily put these in shops for a digital option instead of film...
