I'm thinking of buying a Panasonic TZ7 which looks great in the review but I'm a little concerned over the resolution photos in the two comparative reviews (using the storygraphics photo - links below) for the TZ6 and TZ7 cameras. Panasonic TZ6 image from TZ6 review: http://www.cnet.co.uk/i/c/rv/e/digitalcameras/panasonic/lumix_dmc_tz6/dmctz6storygraphic1large.jpg Panasonic TZ7 image from TZ7 review : http://www.cnet.co.uk/i/c/rv/e/digitalcameras/panasonic/lumix_dmc_tz7/story_1_large.jpg The TZ6 appears to have next to no barrel distortion compared to the TZ7, yet these are supposed to be essentially the same camera??? Yes, a long zoom is going to cause barrel distortion issues but this is a lot of difference in essentially the same camera! Why? I'd like to buy the TZ7 because it has a much better LCD screen than the TZ6 (worth it in my book - the Movie mode is a waste of space since I have a Canon EOS 5DmkII that can do that better). But if the sensor image has become compromised/distorted because of this 'hybrid' still/movie compromise - this is the kind of thing I need to know! Its brushed over though in the reviews as typical of superzooms... Anyone have a sensible position on this issue? Thanks! Susanna ~~~~~~~~
