All i want is a WAV / MP3 player with a screen. Is the Netbook the answer to a DJs dream?
I use my laptop solely for playing music. A bit of a waste you might think but i did 180 gigs last year with my Sony Laptop. i don't really have time to do anything else! ( sob! sob! )
When i go busking i play my backing tracks from my Walkman phone but on stage i need a screen.
I did ask about the capabilities of Netbooks at my local Sony shop but the assistant didn't know what a Netbook was!! ( i'm not joking!)
Netbooks are cheaper, but would i lose anything in performance?. All i want to do is store about 200 Wav files and 1000 MP3s. Do all Netbooks come with a media player? You see i really don't have a clue. Help!................

Netbooks are fully capable of playing music. Most Netbooks come with Windows XP, which comes with Windows Media Player. Alternatively you could download and install another media player of choice. Like Winamp or something.
