need help

I'm new to the forum and after some guidance

here goes

i am wanting a camcorder with an av in socket so i can connect a helmet camera to it for recording my mx bike rides ,i am using a mini dvr recorder at the moment and although i like the light weight of it the quality is OK, but i would like a better picture
