Hello, I bought a JVC GZ-HD40 a few days ago brand new. When I record in Mpeg2 FHD, I get the following error: "Video management file is damaged, recovery is required to record/playback, Recover?" This happens at random times into the recording and stops it in it's tracks. I am not concerned about recovery of any footage as I have only been testing. I have no SD card yet ,so I record straight to HDD.. I haven't tried anything because I don't know what a video management file is, I also don't understand how it could be damaged as I have not done anything but point and shoot, and have only ever cradled it lovingly- so far! Any help would be very appreciated as I dont want to send it back if it is my fault through lack of experience. PS, I didn't format the drive before use?!? Could this be it. Many Thanks in advance.. Mark.
